SHIPPING

How long does it take to process an order?

Please allow 1-2 days for your order to be processed for shipping.

We make every effort to fulfil orders as quickly as possible and aim to send out orders received before 2pm on a next day delivery service.

What about shipping?

We ship both domestically and to a select number of international destinations, including European countries and the United States.

Shipping times and costs depend on your location.

We use DHL for standard items (under 140cm long), and DX Freight for long-length items (over 140cm).

These couriers quote but do not guarantee next-day delivery for domestic shipping. International shipping is longer, around 2-3 days.

Personalised (custom-made) orders including trough lights, built-up letters and neon signs can take 10-15 days to build and deliver because they are made to order. However, we will always try to meet your timescales, so do please let us know if you have a target date.

What are the shipping costs?

Domestic Express Service for parcel lengths up to 1.4 meters

  • £10.50 + VAT
  • Surcharges may apply for the following geographic locations: Northern Ireland, Highlands, Channel/Offshore Islands.
  • Surcharges may apply for weights exceeding 20kgs.

Domestic Express Service for Long Lengths up to 2.9 meters 

  • £19.00 + VAT
  • Surcharges may apply for the following geographic locations: Anglesey, Cornwall, Dyfed, Gwynedd, Highlands, Industrial Scotland, Isle of Wight, London, Powys.
  • Surcharges may apply for weights exceeding 20kgs.
  • A surcharge will apply for residential addresses.

Domestic Express Service for Long Lengths up to 6.0 meters

  • £30.00 + VAT
  • Surcharges may apply for the following geographic locations: Anglesey, Cornwall, Dyfed, Gwynedd, Highlands, Isle of Wight, London, Powys. 
  • Surcharges may apply for weights exceeding 20kgs.
  • A surcharge will apply for residential addresses.

Custom-made Signs & Letters

  • Typically sent using a same-day dedicated van.
  • Prices will be issued within the quotation.

International Shipping

  • Europe: £32
  • USA: £38
  • Surcharges may apply for weights exceeding 5kgs. 
  • For all other international shipping we charge exact costs. Please contact us with details of your order, including the shipping address. We will aim to get back to you within 24 hours with real-time shipping carrier rates and estimated timescales. 
What if I'm not available to accept the goods, or I've missed them?

Where the delivery is unsuccessful due to the absence of the consignee or the consignee refusing delivery and then subsequently requesting delivery or where due to insufficient delivery address the consignment is returned back to the depot for address verification and re-tendered for delivery Spectron LED Ltd reserves the right to impose a surcharge of an amount equal to 50% of the original consignment charge for each attempt to deliver thereafter. Where the delivery address supplied is incorrect, resulting in a re-delivery then Spectron LED Ltd reserves the right to impose a surcharge of an amount equal to 100% of the original consignment charge for a subsequent attempted delivery.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS


We guarantee that each item advertised on our website has been carefully checked for quality and workmanship standards. All merchandise leaves us new, undamaged, and free from defects. We try to ensure that all product descriptions, pictorial representations, pricing, and availability are accurate on our website, but errors may occur. We will contact you upon discovery of an error and give you the option of reconfirming your order or cancelling.

Items are photographed using high-resolution imaging equipment and uploaded onto our website. We cannot accept responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.

The items I purchased arrived damaged or not as described. What are my options? 

Every effort is made to ensure that our products reach you in excellent condition. However, if the item you purchased arrived damaged or not as described please report the issue to us and we will arrange and pay for the return costs and offer an exchange or refund on the item(s). 

The window for returns is 30 days from the date of delivery. Refunds will be processed back to the original form of payment. 

If you accept a refund and your original order no longer qualifies for free shipping, you will need to pay for the carriage costs in full. 

I no longer want the items I purchased. Can I return them? 

If you decide you no longer want an item and it is undamaged and unused, simply return the items* in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of delivery.

Email us at sales@spectronled.co.uk to inform us that you wish to return your purchase for an exchange or full refund and please include your invoice number. Also, please return your dispatch note with the goods as it will be required as proof of purchase.

Send the goods to Spectron LED Limited, 102 Chapel Walks, Chapel Street, Manchester, M3 5DW. Postage costs cannot be refunded and the customer will be responsible for the return cost unless agreed by Spectron LED Ltd.

Goods returned will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Please allow up to 14 days for your refund from the date we receive the returned goods. 

*Please note that custom-made signs, letters, and trough lights cannot be returned unless faulty. Custom-made products are exempt from Distance Selling regulations as outlined by Trading Standards and UK Law as they are made to order.
