Easy to customise

One of the standout features of this kit is the ability to easily customize the length of your LED strip. The strip can be cut every 10mm, and it has a bendable design, allowing you to adapt it perfectly to your design requirements. Separate silicone neon cover

The separate silicone neon cover with wings adds an extra dimension to your LED neon signs. Soldering is much easier as the connection points on the LED strip are fully exposed. And with its two available sizes, you can choose the one that suits your project best. The silicone bead provides a protective layer, ensuring the longevity of your LED strip while also enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal. It is also fully customisable and can be cut at any point. No need to use end caps; simply use the curved cutter to neaten any endpoints.

Winged system - say goodbye to glue marks!

The wings of the silicone cover allow for seamless installation, giving your neon sign a polished and professional look. When used with the purpose-made CNC cutter, the neon cover will click into place without the need for any adhesive. No mess, quicker installation!

INSTALLATION

The 2-part neon flex requires a channel depth of approximately 5.8mm so it is recommended to use a back panel that is between 7mm and 10mm. Cut the channel for your design using our purpose-made CNC bit. Fit the LED strip into the channel and solder all the connections. Cut the silicone neon cover to suit and neaten any endpoints using a half round chisel. Click the neon into place. Test the voltage and connect the power. 

COMMON QUESTIONS

Which is better, the standard (one-part) winged neon flex or the 2-part?

The 2-part system is more suitable for those who have no experience or find it difficult to solder. We also recommend using the 2-part system for complex designs with lots of connections. 

Is the 2-part neon flex kit suitable for outdoor use? 

The 2-part kit is not waterproof and therefore not suitable for outdoor use unless sealed in a waterproof box.

I'm new to this and not sure where to start! Do you have any guides? 

We have a handy tutorial on YouTube using the standard neon flex which you can view here. We also offer an in-house workshop on how to make professional neon signs. Our resident sign maker will introduce the best products for the job, teach you how to solder, and go through some top tips on how to design and achieve a professional sign. You will then create a neon sign which you can take home. All materials are included.
